The weather warning, due to “very warm and humid weather”, will expire at 8am on Saturday morning. “Daytime temperatures in excess of 27 degrees in many areas away from coasts with night time temperatures not falling below 15 degrees,” Met Éireann said. There will be highs of between 24 and 27 degrees on both Thursday and Friday. Irish households are being asked to conserve water, as the spell of warm weather continues.
